Jodo Kast a right midfielder will sign on a 2 earth year contract today. Has been likened to Bobo Fett (R.I.P). Kast participated in a number of games last season. Jodo and his team mates ( Cornelius Evazan and Adar Tallon ) won the Copa de Kal with a record 20 wins 0 Draws and 152 kills. He worked for a time with fellow coaches Puggles Trodd and Zardra. He currently applies his trade in the Al'har system. I am ITK as my (2-1B) droid is part of the medical team at Staplewood.
I was told by a member of SFC staff yesterday that we would be signing a CB hopefully before the weekend but defo in the next few days. He wouldn't give me a name because he said he "didn't dare risk it". Anyone heard any whispers or got any ideas who is in the frame?
Always thought Danny Ings from Bournemouth was a decent player, only 18 years old with teams like Fulham and Liverpool sniffing around. Wouldn't be that expensive, certainly not the 3.25 mil we were willing to pay for Billy Sharp!
yeh but bournemouth want £1m for an 18yr old who WE released in our ressies and has only scored 8 goals in half a season. =/ not worth it.
We are not much different with the oxo situation, Scored a few goals but unproven at a higher level. Its not the first time a gem has been let go. (kevin Phillips?) On another note Roberts has definatly turned down a new deal with the udders.
If we were still in League 1, going for Ings for a million would be good but we're looking for quality Championship players now. Getting another CB in would put everybody at ease because I think we're all unsure about Jaidi playing 2 games a week.

i dont think Ings is that good at all - we paid £1m for lambert who was 3 seasons running a proven goalscorer, even that made some people take note. in fact half of me thinks that transaction helped inflate the fee's of L1 players even higher as others want to cash in too. we do need good champ players who are hungry - it seems to me with the purchases we have made that we either go for players who are quite young of quality or players who are slightly older but are absolute bargains for how good they are - we will see if i may be right when the next person rocks up in his audi or something! (on that note has anyone seen lallana's new wheels? dayumn theire nice!)
I posted this on another thread just now. Rocket Swannie from the old 606 seems to think the new centre back will be Anton Ferdinand from Sunderland, for what its worth! I guess they have taken on the two Manure reserve CB's so he might be surplus to requirements.
According to a twitter agent (who to be fair called Given to Villa 24 hours early) has stated that Leicester have had a £5m bid rejected for Nicky Maynard. Think we're priced out of that one!
