I agree with oddy. You'd think he could rattle a sequence summer jumping.

Dancing Dik took an age to finally break his maidan tag over fences lto at Plumton.Hcapper has put the old boy up 11lbs but if he runs reasonable well here he should be able to score again,9/4 seems a decent price.
Best of luck with the Squire beast lads.

Rich Ricci on ATR tonight 5.45 speaking about his charges. I'm sure it will be fascinating....

'He/she could be anything' to be said 5+ times 5/6
'Certainly looks a very interesting recruit' said 4+ times 4/7
'He's one that shows us plenty at home' said 16+ times 10/11
'He's one that excites us' said 4+ times 5/6
'Annie Power will be aimed for the Mare Hurdle, probably'. No price offered!

In all seriousness I know plenty don't like him, but I think he's a pretty cool guy, he's certainly very passionate about his racing and it's incredible what he invests in the game. He gives you the time of day too if you do stop off to chat with him. Just don't expect too many surprises, as excellent as Chapman can be at grilling someone!

Baffling old boy, as one might say perfection cannot be improved upon, but it does show the class of the man to spread horses around even to the smaller Lambourn trainers. Perhaps he's hoping to resurrect the once great man's career :bandit:

Hopefully Hendo's charge can produce a 'headline grabbing' performance (and boost the form of my to follow horse Yorkhill in the process)!

At 16/1 the mighty Squire is just too big to ignore so I have burdened him with some eway cash.

Squire is a very good EW bet at that price. I feel this is purely a form perspective and nothing to do with our affection as a forum horse, I cannot understand why he has been 18-1 this morning.

Squire didn't settle at all today and although likely not in the league of the first two it's a race to write off as he ran very fresh today.

Just saw a replay of Squire's race. A bit jumpy for some reason but, from what I could see, I wouldn't be best pleased with the ride.

Furious wouldn't be too strong a word Ron. Totally ignored the instructions he was given loud and clear 3 times..... Actually he did the opposite on every count. Shocking.
Stick and I didn't even bother going to hear his feedback but by all accounts he was pretty sheepish.

We're just lucky to have him back in one piece with only a nasty cut.... He could have tripped numerous times and was like a pinball in the middle of horses. Amazing he didn't trip one or himself up

Anything to note from the interview Beefy or was he just glossing over what we already know?

Very frustrating Don, surprising as well as he has been riding very well this year and secured himself as rider no1 with William Hagges, who I have always imagined to be a trainer with very distinct views about riding. I like a rider who will be able to re-act to circumstances unexpected, but not one who just ignores everything you have just asked him to do.

Squire has been a great horse this year and I think many of us have enjoyed the free ride of adopting him as our own also, I hope he enjoys his break and thanks to you both for always being so generous with the updates.

Didn't actually hear it myself as I had to go out after tea. Most of it's on the ATR app (I say most of as it cuts off before the end of the interview) which I've just watched. No surprises to hear he nominated MIN as his novice hurdler to follow, along with KARALEE. He must have been on the brandy when he put her in ahead of LIMINI....bankers eh ;) FULHAM ROAD his best bumper horse.
