    Why do we:

    a) Keep harking back to Laudrup ?

    b) descend into a ****fight every time he is mentioned ?

The last I heard he was still counting the money that Jenkins gave him as a going away present. <laugh><laugh><laugh>[/QUOTE]
But Vetch - Huw would still be in profit having "sold" Brendan to Liverpool for more than he paid ML !

There's a thought, I wonder how much Brendan cost Liverpool for the 3 years he was there? Was it £3m or £5m Liverpool reputedly paid to us for BR and his back room staff. Now his severance payment, reportedly that could be c£7m. I guess that Pascoe would have had his contract paid up last Summer as well?

Why worry about what other teams finances and plight, We have enough worries of our own to contend with.......Football is awash with money and is about to get more and to me that's obscene and the only ones who are getting ripped of are the Fans and not individual football clubs who are raking it in....

Dai - not worried one iota! The thought just came to me when I was responding to Vetch. Brendan's dossier cost Liverpool big time! <cheers>

A more pertinent question is why do you,and several others, seem unable to deal with the sight of Laudrup's name?

That indicates to me a complete lack of maturity.

If the allegation is that I "keep harping back to Laudrup",let me point out that it was the Monkeynut Dragon who raised his spectre on this thread.

Perhaps you could address your angst to the correct person.

Oh,and grow up a little, you may actually enjoy life a little more.

Laudrup was the Club's most successful Manager,so he is bound to be discussed from time to time.

Re the "****fight",you are the poster,on this thread who created it.

Taff,I was merely responding to the Penclawdd idiot, who, once again brought Laudrup into play.
Sadly, there are those who are so immature the mere sight of the name LAUDRUP sends them into gaga land.

I'm hoping that now Fabianski, Taylor, Williams, Sigurddson, Shelvey have all qualified for Euro 2016 without the need for a play-off we can focus solidly again on the Premier League without distractions. (Did I miss anyone?)

    1. A more pertinent question is why do you,and several others, seem unable to deal with the sight of Laudrup's name?

I have no issues with Laudrup whatsoever. Experience shows us that when Laudrups name is used in comparison against another Swansea manager, particularly Monk, then a **** fight ensues.

    2. That indicates to me a complete lack of maturity.

    Suck my balls

If the allegation is that I "keep harping back to Laudrup",let me point out that it was the Monkeynut Dragon who raised his spectre on this thread.

    3. Perhaps you could address your angst to the correct person.

No angst here, just tired of constantly going over well trodden ground. It's like religion, no opinion here will change anybody else's opinion when it comes to Laudrup. If you don't like or respect him now - you never will. Move along.

    4. Oh,and grow up a little, you may actually enjoy life a little more.

    Again.......suck my balls.

    5. Laudrup was the Club's most successful Manager,so he is bound to be discussed from time to time.

That's fine, but you know as well as anyone that there is no possibility of civilised conversation here when it comes to Laudrup. Not saying it's your fault, but that's just the way it is.

    6. Re the "****fight",you are the poster,on this thread who created it.

Again, there was a comparison with Monk - hence we all know what is coming. Don't pretend to be oblivious to it. You are the living definition of passive/aggressive.

Clearly our local Vetchtable has lost the plot, he accuses me of raising the Laudrop subject on this thread, when he and 'Roofer' were having a debate on the Camel Jockey long before I came along, you really couldn't make up the poison and lies eminating from the old bat........ <laugh>

Back to the Match Day thread.
Only my opinion of course, if Gomis plays, I think we`ll lose. Put Ayew as a false nine, put Siggy in a role that more suits him, get the players fired up and we might win.

At present we are in a downward spiral, missing chances that need to be put away, nay, must be put away. Come on Monky, sort it out and stop the platitudes.

End of, only my opinion of course.

I don't agree with dropping gomis myself as i don't think it is all his fault that his goals have dried up. I believe the midfield have been poor and not in control enough to give proper service to our front players. We must play gomis with Ayew just behind with a free reign to worry the oppositions defence and i want to see the midfield chipping in with a few shots themselves......they have not been doing that for a while now....

Most people on here could have put away that header at the corner of the net against the Spurs. Also , Gomis made a pass to Ayew ,while Gomis was in their box and Ayew was surrounded by three of their players ,he should have shot .Hes making bad decisions , while his focus withers. Not sure what plan b is , but Gomis as plan a is coming up empty, he's mentally unfit as a lone striker these days imo

It's not that the midfield is poor it's that we are playing with no width and are only able to put pressure on from Montero on the left and whilst Ayew has played wide for his other teams he is not a true winger and we need another one to play on the right. PLEASE Monk try Ayew behind the target man

Ayew played on the right in the World Cup and it's where he plays with us and I would normally frown on changing a players normal position , but.....Routledge could play the wing and do a good job. The only reason I would play Ayew in the position sugarman wants is he'll be close to his "buddy" Gomis and maybe Gomis would be more ifocused on the game .
