With all these injuries perhaps Teix will be in the matchday squad. I have no idea what Klopp will go with, but im excited for the first time in a while.

I'd like to see more of Tex. I think we're wasting him not using him. He had demonstrable quality but is not getting important big-game time.

Given the Injuries and his extra time with the manager. No internationals I think he has a good chance of being in the squad. Quality player

Did he say anything about changing captains?

    ------------Ming
    Clyne-Skrtel--Sakho-Moreno
    --------Rossiter-Can
    Milner-----Coutinho---Lallana
    ----------Sturridge

I think he likes players with energy which Lucas will really struggle with, i hope he sees that Milner can't play centrally even though he thinks he can.

If i remember rightly he played against Fulham in 13/14 season when we were losing and played really well, seemed to just drop off the Earth after that however.

Think he would be a player to challenge for Lallanas position with our injuries.

I do like to follow some of the old youth still every week. Suso still sits on the bench every week for Milan, Pacheco Is not scoring for Alaves, Bruna didnt drink his milk and is at Accrington Stanley and Adam Morgan is working at Lidl after having an unsuccessful spell in tescos

saintanton and organic red like this.

  11. I loved Pacheco and Suso but neither seem to really fight for their spot when playing imo. Pacheco was the more disappointing for me. So much potential and praise, plsu he was player of the tournament in a couple of youth international tournaments, was brilliant in a couple of pre-seasons for us too.

Thats the difference is the players willingness to fight. The fact Rafa, Roy and Kenny all gave him a go at it resulted in him getting sold to some second division side speaks volumes.

I did always like Suso but he was a poor mans Coutinho who even know isn't a world class player.

  14. Suso was the player Brod always referred to when he questioned player mentality imo. Suso seemed to only be interested when we were attacking and playing well.

Gutted for the lad.. 3 goals in 4 (or was it 5) games, was coming on nicely...
Here's to a speedy recovery to both Ings and Gomez <ok>

With regards to the side, can see not much change until we get the likes of Hendo, Firmino, Flano and Benteke back...

    ----------------- Ming
    -- Clyne - Skrtel - Sakho - Moreno
    ------------ Can --- Lucas
    --- Lalana ----- Ford ---- Milner
    --------------- Sturridge

Will be a tough game at Spurs, Kane is due a good game, Eriksen is playing great, their defence is decent but their FBs can be had..
Will be happy to take a point here...

I read he usually plays 1 static DM so that will be Lucas. He then pairs them with a super athlete. Henderson eventually but Milner for now.

Two attacking midfielders and a direct runner behind 1 striker.

    Mingolet
    Clyne Skrtel Sakho Moreno
    Milner Lucas
    Ibe Lallana Coutinho
    Sturridge
Our best form last season came when we played 3421 with Lallana and Coutinho as 2 AM, playing quite close together almost Klopp style. They worked well together so I'm looking forward to seeing how they do. I have doubts that either will manage the extreme pressing game though.

Milner has run more KM this season than any other premier league player. No One in the Liverpool team has yet beaten his average per game in a single game. Milner has been quite the athlete.
