Oh poor old RS they can 'only' afford a mere £150k per week <wah>

I'd find a new rolemodel if I were you, @Christiansmith is certainly no one to model yourself on. Unless moving from your roots has clouded your judgement of course

Once a bitter always a bitter eh? As OAP worrier would say

I'd find a new ****ing head if I was you love, preferably this time one with a ****ing brain in it X

Or does he? The meltdown on LFC positive news is brilliant

Ssssshh, I know that
So a washed up DJ sticking yawn on his decks at OT is 'positive LFC news' and those thinking it was small time and attention seeking was somehow a 'meltdown'?

Hahaha whatever you say love.

Stop digging to cover your fail, and take it like a man <laugh>

Please refrain from incuding me in your weekend activities

I like music to be upbeat and happy. Not relate to sadness and gloom.

You should have choose yellow submarine as your anthem. For no reason at all. That would have been a sight.

You don't like adult or mature music. Just kiddie sounding songs like glory glory and yellow submarine?

Nothing gloomy about YNWA. The song is about no matter what happens sticking together and triumphing. How is that gloomy?

So you can't afford the big names then.

Afford is different. We can afford the high wages but FSG have wage structure in place that stops is committing the spend on wages needed.

OK buy why?

Why spunk £80million on average players like Lala, Markovic, Balotelli and Lovren to "only" pay them, what, a combined £300k a week on a four year contract (total spend - £140million) when you could spend £50million on Sanchez, who I think is the best player in the PL, and pay him £200k a week on a 4 year contract (total spend £90million)?

You don't think we've (fans) not wondered the same thing?

PS...Sanchez isn't a great example though. We reportedly posted him more than Araenal.

Top players get £200k+ and don't arrive for free

As has already been pointed out there'd have been **** all to stop you bringing in a player or 2 at that level had you used your resources more wisely.

You talk about a salary cap as if it's holding you back, pure nonsense, as 1. you don't even know if it exists ( the evidence suggests otherwise) and 2. they broke the previous highest paid player at Anfield at the drop of a hat for Suarez when he was put on £160k per week with that rising to £200k if he had stayed beyond the first 6 months.

It's a ****ing delsuional excuse for failing to acquire top end players, you've either failed to attract them or you've simply not gone in for them, but **** off with using resources as an excuse.

.<laugh>

Or

Things you got to 2nd

League title
2 European titles
3 European titles
4 European titles
5 European titles
18 league titles
The League and Fa Cup double
Winning 3 trophies in one season twice
Shirt sponsorship
First game on Match of the day in colour
Semi final of the European Cup
Reach a European final
Employ Matt Busby

Etc etc.

<whistle>

Last is best <laugh>

Try reading on (post [HASHTAG]#188[/HASHTAG] or [HASHTAG]#190[/HASHTAG]) and you'll see i agreed with that <doh>

I've clearly said many time (not just this thread) that isn't a case of we can't afford it, its a case of not willing to change a restricted wage structure. I also accept that we do occasionally break that restriction (or at least attempt to) when it comes to certain player; aka Suarez and Sanchez

How can you agree with that and still maintain you can't afford to pay the wages then?

Get your story straight ffs <doh>
