Anyone going to try and watch the Poland v ROI game, should be exciting compared with most of the final games which are dead rubbers.
I will, I've stuck a fiver on Ireland to win, Germany with a -4 handicap and Scotland with a -5 handicap.
...and I always get too play the Italian card too
My priorities:
1. England
2. Italy
3. NI
4. ROI
5. Wales

Somewhere I should have interest in the knockout stages...
Despite being 50/50 English/Italian, that's the main motivator with me also. So if a country was playing with loads of Saints players against England or Italy who are maybe fielding none, I'd be wanting that country to win. Club over country, no contest.
It'll be interesting whether Poland sit back a bit more now, knowing how damaging for them conceding a second could be. Give one goal away fine, a draw will still be sufficient. But give that second goal away, and they'll need to score at least three.
On the flip side, for Ireland they can now leave the backdoor a bit more open if they like. They can now afford to concede whilst going in search of a goal, knowing that it wouldn't change their target of needing to score that goal.
