South Shields beat Ryton & Crawcrook 4 -0 today in front of a crowd of 1,045 (including me, of course) which is blinking brilliant 
'Sheels weren't fantastic, but they are looking like a good team now (and since a rather famous Argentinian arrived a few weeks ago)
It was comfortable at 2-0 with about five minutes to go, then The Mariners scored 2 in less than a minute to complete a fairer reflection on the game
The first of these two was an exquisite curler into the top left hand corner by the Man of the Match, who, unsurprisingly, is 'a cut above' the rest at this level, and we were well pleased
. . . . so much so that the whole, so it seemed, of the stand that we were in started singing Hooliooooooo's song, 'cos he must really be 
indestructable and he must always believe it
