He doesn't make a habit of it though. It's the right appointment, there are no guarantees in football but with Allardyce we've given ourselves as good a chance of staying up as we could have hoped for. I'm glad it's two years too, if we don't beat the odds one more time and do get relegated then we'd never get anyone better than Allardyce to navigate the championship.
I'm not having a go at the bloke as I think he's done a canny job but I bet Congerton's gone by the morning.
Was listening to a North East sports journo on the radio & he reckons Sam will tear the place apart & want total say on how things are run. That's good news as Ellis has surrounded himself by people who haven't a clue. I think we are in for a lot of changes.
