  1. Surely we already have? The Suarez and Sterling deals alone cover the outgoings don't they?

Will have to redo the maths. Last time I bothered doing them we were £20mill short but still had several Comolli players on the books. That was pre Sterling sale... Did Comolli sign Sterling? Thought he had been around since Rafa as one of his last youth signings... I'm probably mistaken though because Raheem isn't that old.

Need to look at historical transfer lists again

Sterling was signed when Rafa was manager and Dalglish ambassador.

As for actual future transfers. I would imagine Klopp wouldn't want to damage Dortmund by trying to take several players. They are already at a big club too and might not want to leave, but I would like if we could try to get at least Hummels and a couple attackers. I like Reus, but worry with how injury prone he is.

I'm hoping a new keeper and defender come in January. Really boost the defensive unit.

The German market is full of them.

  6. Not too fussed about replacing Migs immediately, he's been in good form recently despite the results. Wouldn't mind a CB but feel one or two must leave first, we've got five atm; Skrtel, Lovren, Skaho, Toure and Gomez, plus Wisdom and Ilori out on loan.

What we serious lack is midfield. We only have one DM in Lucas, we have four work horses in Can, Hendo, Milner and Allen but no playmaker unless you count Coutinho as a CM.

Control the midfield and the defence and attack will look better for it anyway.

    Go and buy pjanic.

Matip had been mentioned in the past, German link there, relatively young I believe and think he's approaching end of his contract so could be cheap.

Highly thoight of of a few years ago not sure how he's been since then though.

Our midfield is definitely our weakest area. Its lacks creativity, muscle and depth.

Klopp likes an enforcer DM. Lucas will do it short term but I can see a signing here.

I think Klopp will like Henderson.

Could we see a second coming of Sahin?

I bet it will be even harder to move Balotelli on next summer now. He'll love Klopp.

Any guesses at how many Dortmund players we're now going to be linked with?

    Agree with this.

Sahin is a lovely player if used right.

Looking for the sake of argument at the Bundesliga... there's both Lars and Sven Bender, Xhaka, Rode, Hojbjerg, Gustavo, Kramer, Geis.

So much talent in the BuLi - Klopp will certainly have contacts.
