International break now so I'd like to think they will announce the new manager before our next game, seeing as it's 2 weeks away!

There is the makings of a good team there. Look at our squad and the makings are their for a manager to really take this team to at least a cup and do something in Europe.

Mig - Probably a top 6 keeper.

Clyne - Solid full back that wouldn't look our of place at any other top PL club.
Sakho - young and hugely talented potential.
Lovren - I know he's been ****, but he showed (even if it was with 2 DM's infront of him) that he can defend and is still young (25 I think?)
Moreno - DEcent going forward, still young and played for Sevilla when doing well in league & Europa.

Can - Germany U21 captain, showed real class in midfield. Top talent
Allen/Lucas/Milner - all solid options for a top 6 team. No superstars but good fillers.
Hendo - good potential. Not quite top level but has the ability to be a top 4 player.

Coutinho/Sturridge - top class.

Benteke - showed he can be top class in the Prem.
Ings - young player, shown he could be more.


New manager needs to come in and work out how to play Coutinho/Sturridge/Benteke in 1 team and get the best out of them.. do that and we'll win more matches than we lose.

This is a talented and young squad. A better manager will get more out of them IMO.

But a manager is only a part of the solution. Big structural changes needed to be made.

I've got no ill-will towards him. He tried his best but was out of his depth.
In keeping with the owners' policy they went for a young manager but he wasn't ready for a club with such high aspirations.
It must have been a steep learning curve for him and hopefully he'll go on to do well with someone else, and we can get a manager with the experience we need to take us forward.


Watch him go straight into another job now and beat us next game.

8 games... plus a Cup game which we struggled against League 2..

Plus 2 Europa games in which we drew 1-1

Well that was sudden. Actually didn't think today's result was too bad and the performance was slightly better.

FSG must have someone ready to come in to act this suddenly.
 
Right now Big Sam is furiously printing out his 180 page power-point presentation!

Sad to see the lad go... but he had enough time (not just this season) and loads of money and continued to fail to learn from his mistakes.
Good timing, two week international break, new man (hopefully in soon) can get in and used to their new surroundings!

Exactly, doesn't make sense to act this quickly if they are going to leave us in Limbo..
Hopefully they'll act swiftly and for once, make a decent footballing decision!

I think you must be the only one who is taken by surprise. Apart from the speed with which it has happened after today's game, I think even those of us who've been more patient with him were resigned to the inevitability given our poor start.

They can't be live... 6/1 for Klopp is ridiculously underpriced considering Skybet are only offering 1/3!!

We've been away to Stoke,Arsenal,Man.u and Everton so far this season aswell...........I would have liked him to be given a while longer but hey ho :emoticon-0126-nerd:
