Just need a manager who can do the basics

    - Clear tactics
    - Players in their proper positions
    - Buy better

Literally shocked. I thought he was unsackable with all the crap he has achieved with us.
People feeling sorry for him, if someone is sh!t at their job they need to go.

Not a bad addition to his CV when all is said and done

Put £20 on him being the next manager to be sacked in PL at 7/4. <ok>

    Thank you Brendan.

Well done FSG. Sincerely. That takes bottle to sack your man after giving him millions just a month or two ago. he should have gone after Stoke, but as it is, I'm please Klopp will get some time to work with the players before January. Hopefully he can get the best now out of Firmino and Benteke and Lovren will almost definitely be shown the door

Possibly. I think the 13/14 season saved him and gave him that extra bit of time though.

1 win in the last 9 over 90 minutes... unfortunately is not good enough for LFC even if we aren't the club we once were.

Paddy Power odds. Can't see Benitez leaving RM. Klopp must be favourite

    Rafael Benitez 5/1
    Jurgen Klopp 6/1
    Laurent Blanc 10/1
    Ronald de Boer 10/1
    Ronald Koeman 10/1
    Andre Villas-Boas 16/1

I still think it was too soon, 8 games 4 points off second and the only way being up re our performances.

If they are gonna pull caretaker **** till the end of the season there was no point sacking him now so surely they have a replacement?

If Rafa got the sack after one bad season (having won us the CL, reached the final, and spent a net £20m each summer) then BR was on serious borrowed time. 3+ seasons, £300m, zero trophies, zero inspiration. Time for a change

Of course they have a replacement! otherwise they would just limp through with BR! They will 100% have been in discussions with Klopp's representatives following the West Ham defeat

Appropriate considering there is an international break gets the new man in to ensure he has time to meet all the players.

    Thank you Brendan for 2013/14
Thanks for finding coutinho and studge and giving some youngsters game time.

    Good. Luck

There is the makings of a good team there. Look at our squad and the makings are their for a manager to really take this team to at least a cup and do something in Europe.

    Mig - Probably a top 6 keeper.

Clyne - Solid full back that wouldn't look our of place at any other top PL club.
Sakho - young and hugely talented potential.
Lovren - I know he's been ****, but he showed (even if it was with 2 DM's infront of him) that he can defend and is still young (25 I think?)
Moreno - DEcent going forward, still young and played for Sevilla when doing well in league & Europa.

Can - Germany U21 captain, showed real class in midfield. Top talent
Allen/Lucas/Milner - all solid options for a top 6 team. No superstars but good fillers.
Hendo - good potential. Not quite top level but has the ability to be a top 4 player.

    Coutinho/Sturridge - top class.

Benteke - showed he can be top class in the Prem.
Ings - young player, shown he could be more.

New manager needs to come in and work out how to play Coutinho/Sturridge/Benteke in 1 team and get the best out of them.. do that and we'll win more matches than we lose.

Ditto. He still fits the model of a young manager who plays attractive football (pace!) and he is a big name that can attract top talent, not Joe Allen and Lallanas. He also would take pride in a club with history and look to play young players.
