Hahahahaha! Have a look at smaller jewellers mate. I had to traipse half way across the country but got a bigger diamond with a better clarity and colour and pricier gold for way, way cheaper.

Second hand is also a decent idea. You get beautiful pieces for far cheaper though in mint condition (Thank god for divorce/Blunham's ex's). Makes getting a nice ring way way cheaper.

Put it this way, between my and her inheritance we're retiring mortgage free in a very decent house without lifting a finger. Need to get get grafting and build a pension though. I've only got national insurance credits to my name despite working a ridiculous amount of hours in my life.
