Christ I don't let her eat every day plym. If I did that she'd expect it every week.

So, Wales managed to get their win over Fiji then and it's a total uphill battle for England now. I just don't see either Wales or England beating the Aussies and it is a must for us. I nearly said next plane home then but realised they are already home. Still, I never expect England to win anything much anyway so not that disappointed, it's still a good watch with or without us.

Watched most of the France v Canada game tonight and was well impressed with Canada even though they were a bit out of their depth. What a fight they put up for a very long period and the committment and tackling was full on all the way through. France never quite looked in any danger but that doesn't take anything away from Canada.

We should have done the rugby as well.. that would have been difficult to score?

I will be hoping we beat the Aussies. should be a great game and we have no choice but to go for it now.. still it has been a good world cup and the games have been great no boring games.. I suppose next year we will have the Euros? now that will be boring.. watching all the rich players trying hard <diva>

Sorry not to be patriotic here. I would always want England to win but my head tells me this is the end of our tournament. I think the occasion will get to them and we will fall apart losing convincingly. If I were to have a punt on it I would say the gap would be a minimum of 25 points. I will still watch the rest of the matches though. Watched the All Blacks struggle for most of the match against Georgia tonight. Georgia did really well up to the last 15 minutes when it ran away from them a bit but can still be proud of the effort.

It was disappointing in the end but to be honest totally expected. We simply are not good enough at rugby to challenge these teams. We threw it away against Wales and it made this match a step too far. The best team won this one even if it was an Aussie one and it pains me to say that. Still not all doom and gloom cause "WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE"

Yes we were out after last week,s disappointment. We never looked good enough and were shown that today, a lesson in rugby.. i do think the Aussies will be there come the final.. hopefully as that is were my money is going.. It was good game no matter of the result..

Out of the top 3 sides, that is NZ, SA and Aussie, they are the only side not to wobble and look average. Thought NZ made a load of errors in their last game and SA were beaten by Japan. It could be a good call backing Aussie but the touble is to discount NZ is dangerous. Not sure who plays what in the knockouts but if they avoid each other I would reckon on NZ v Aussie final.

As you say they are looking the steadiest side, but SA are getting better by the game.. i would rather Auss win it..

Didn't bother with the South Africa match earlier as I felt it would be a tad one sided but I did watch the Numibia v Georgia match later this evening. Absolutely millions of mistakes by both sides but was facinating nonetheless. The effort these two put in for a bit of a non game in terms of qualifying was immense. It was more than facinating really. I thought at one point it was going to erupt into a brawl kind of game. Great for the uninvolved in a sick kind of way. But it didn't in the end and it ended 17 - 16 which was about right on the night. The game was at Exeter.

A couple of excellent & exciting games today, not sure the England game will be as interesting.

I really enjoyed the Scotland v Samoa match this afternoon. Played at a million miles an hour and every ounce of effort put in by both teams. Nip and tuck for the whole game. The Ausie v Wales game was more facinating than exciting for me. I expected the Ausie mob to rule easily but it wasn't like that was it. Hard hard game. England v Uraquay still on but have lost a bit of interest in a one sided contest going exactly as it should. Nothing game and flatish atmosphere. Am knackered now after sitting through three in a row.
