    Suggestions in the Italian media have filtered through to England that Liverpool have approached former AC Milan, Chelsea, Paris St. Germain and Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti as a potential replacement for Brendan Rodgers, who is under mounting pressure after a poor start to the season.
    BBC Sport believes the word on Merseyside and around Liverpool is that there is no truth whatsoever in the suggestion and the club have made no approach to any manager, anywhere, about any possible future vacancy at Anfield.

    Graham Beecroft was on TS this morning and was definitive that Rodgers is getting the sack. He's usually on the button with RS related stories, so unfortunately it sounds like he's off :(
