and the dude did repeatedly, but the agent wouldn't because it would have been ****ing stupid, even going as far as he did ona phone was ****ing stupid. I suspect towards the end when the guy said just come out and say it, the agent copped he was being recorded I think

I think you need to understand that a person in the FBI is unlikely to put his arm around you and ask you nicely. He's going to apply pressure and intimidate you. In this case, with a kid, he went to far but its likely how he conducts himself. Imagine what they deal with day to day. Its no excuse to make the threat, even in jest but its just how they are forced to work. Even if there's the slightest chance you may have something, the nice way isn't going to cut it.

If that FBI agent is a bit of a dick, well you get this. I seriously doubt this young lad is going to suffer a sudden "accident" :emoticon-0105-wink::emoticon-0105-wink:

It is illegal to use treats of physical harm to get someone to do your bidding. Even for the FBI and especially against someone who has committed no crimes

No doubt it is. Are you naive enough to believe it doesn't happen. The police are not angels. You obviously know this so why are you in the slightest bit shocked? It probably goes on every day.

It ain't pretty but isn't terrorisms actually pretty rare? Well, at least for us. You explain how we are supposed to make it better in the middle east now (forget for a moment how it came about, that cannot be changed). We go in, all goes to hell, we are the bad guy. We pull out, all hell breaks loose, we are the bad guy.
