I think we can all agree that after 60 odd years on the throne, the Queen has been saved. Time to move on
 
When you go to court as a witness or jury duty , you can take an alternative oath if you dont believe in God ...

so why should a MP be forced to sing a song about a person he doesnt believe in (the queen) being protected by a big sky wizard.

I just take the normal oath in court as I don't want to look like a prick
 
I suppose he would argue that if he was running the country he would seek to overthrow the monarchy and the only way he can do that, without being done for treason, is to become PM.

In my editorial opinion, Dan, you didn't need to put that in parenthesis. It's a moot point and deserves its place within the contextual flow of the sentence - a sentence of great bearing, I must add. <ok>
