Anyone bought a ticket on line and printed it out? I did this last night as against my better judgement I'm taking GLP Jr to his first game.

I'm surprised the club haven't updated the ticket details! According to the ticket we are still in the PL and sponsored by 12 Bet!!

Anyone any tips for entertaining a 5 year old? I'm not convinced that football will be sufficient!!

I'd have thought at 5 years old the sights and sounds will be amazing.

Obviously better if we win but just try to keep him focussed on the pitch.

And make he doesn't learn any new words to share with his mother after the game...

He's already asked if he can take his boots, shin pads and ball! I think he thinks he might get a game <laugh>

Take a couple of bags of sweets with you mate! When he inevitably starts getting restless about 20mins in just give him a bag of chewy wine gums or something similar and he'll sit there engrossed in the football whilst trying to chew his way through the sweets . . . works with my lad anyways!!

We printed tickets for the Preston game and also noticed the outdated logos, at the turnstile you just scan the barcode like you do with a normal ticket or season card - it worked a treat.

etickets also worked fine for me. Good idea as they saved having to collect or having them posted close to match day.

I got tickets for three mates from that machine in the club shop, they are little reciets like you get out of a bank machine so easy to lose

No phones, tablets, DSs, etc.

It's football, the game is the entertainment. Irritates me seeing kids at a match playing on a tablet; and I'm no technophobe.

He's only 5. He doesn't have any of the above! I prefer to get him out playing football or biking. I hate this computer gaming vegetable generation society has produced.
