    I wasn't implying it was a bad decision, on a sunny day it was the logical thing to do. You don't know what the ball will do in the air until you are out there, pitch must have looked benign.
    8 wickets. Comprehensive. But a lot of positives in coming back to level the series after being 2 down. Has this format, the 50 over game, got legs?

    That's quite a thought provoking question which I've not considered. It seems that it's the inbetweener form of the game now. Sandwiched between the popular quick fix TV friendly 20/20 and the traditional five day test. It does appear to be the form of the game that's being taken as the less serious of the three at international level.
    The 50 over game appears to have become a trialist to see which players can adapt to the other two forms of the game.

    Well, l didn't get to watch any of the series, mostly listened to you guys for updates.
    England showed some fight coming from 2 nil down to level so that must be a positive for the team for future series.
    Good to see Aussies step up.
