Great start by England with the new bowler Willey taking two early wickets. Australia 25-2

Probably got the curator to doctor the pitch again.

Apparently it's supposed to be a good batting pitch. I thought it would be all over today when Australia won the toss and elected to bat. The side that bats first usually wins. This is far from over though I feel.

Great game. Great result.
That Maxwell is some cricketer!!

Come on England, let's win this series as well!!

Pretty much a complete all-round performance from Maxwell. Brilliant innings, excellent spell of bowling and two stunning catches. I expect England to wrap up the series tomorrow though.

If they do, it will be quite a turn around in performance levels with the white ball.

I've just woke up. ( Combination of two night shifts and going to yesterday's game and drowning one's sorrows. ) What the bloody hell has happened? :emoticon-0183-swear

Seems that we're destined to lose this one unless there's a calipso in the Aussie batting order.

Decided to bat on a day when it swung/seamed and the Aussies had the bowlers to capitalise. Morgan rtd hurt after being hit on the head by Starc, who seemed the more upset of the two, following the Phil Hughes death.

Aussies already 1 down though, may still be some interest in this.....

Cheers, probably not enough to see us win though. I may opt for some more sleep, Super Sunday is barely watch-able either. :emoticon-0113-sleep

Aussies 2 down at Lunch/break time......

They really shouldn't lose needing only another 100 odd runs with 8 wickets left.......but if another 3 or 4 wickets go for only 30 or so runs then it could be game on.......bit of a long shot really.......

Smith said he would have batted to had he won the toss.

I take it we took a hell of a beating? I couldn't bring myself to watch.
