Just seen the team for tonight. Got to be said, Rooney aside and possibly Sterling if he kicks on, none of them would get in the 96 side, let alone the 90 one. Still, a few have the chance to grow into it. Hard not to feel sorry for Rooney, excepting Gerrard and Beckham a few years back never had the quality around him to be able to relax and not have to carry the team.

I expect Sheff may disagree.
