Wish someone would put a gag on the commentator. ...the fawning oversuper wWayne knows no bounds. ...
Makes you want to vomit! Suprised Hoddle didn't give him MotM - now we'll have to listen to SWPs Dad giving it laldy about how good Rooney is - give me a bucket
Surely any fan of football must realise what an achievement it is break SBC's record. Like Rooney or not, it still needs applauding.
Don't have a problem with the fact he's broken Bobby Charlton record, it's the bloody hype around him and the verbal overdose of the commentator that gets on my wick. ...
So.... The usual crap spouted about England and Rooney. If you don't like watching England don't watch the ****ing game! If you don't think Rooney is a top class player you know **** all about football. Quite a few positives for England tonight. Smalling is beginning to look like a top class centre back. Shaw will get better and better. Clyne looks good. Good players still to come back from injury. England have quick, young attacking players to play in and around England's leading goal scorer of all time. A fantastic achievement by Rooney! A much better second half from England as they moved the ball much quicker. Kane in front of Rooney looks an option for the future. Switzerland were difficult opponents who got a lot of men behind the ball and kept the ball well. Totally toothless going forward though and ****ari again showed how over rated he is. England continue with a 100% record. Far from the finished article but lots of potential. They will be very dangerous if teams come at them as they are perfectly set up for the fast counter attack. Well done England and Rooney!
You should be a pundit col as you've said more about the game in that post than any of those who are paid to do punditry....All they want to talk about is Rooney. ...nothing else matters apparently. ..
Very strange comparison. This England side are a work in progress. I suspect that quite a few of them have the potential to be as good as the players in the sides you mention.
Normally not a lot to shout about with England, and like many, get bored with these international breaks. But fair do's, we are the first team to qualify and a 100% record, played 8 with 24 points. Starting to get a bit optimistic about France next year.
