See there we turned down loan for Stokes to go Bolton, concern we don't have anyone to bring in there.....although weird seeing Christie doing press conference on his own without manager or representative from club, hopefully they are too busy trying to get a decent striker in

Btw Gronigen get £1.5m too, so in effect we sold Virgil for £13m as we would have been liable for the extra but we got Soton to pay it. Great bit of business.

For Peter Lawwell.

The team's ****ter than it was yesterday but at least his bonus will be a cracker this year.

If I let things like that concern me I'd chuck it. It's a business and Van Dijk was going anyway, either now or for nout in January, I would love Celtic to spend all that money on a striker or more players but its never happened before so I don't expect it to change anytime soon.

I'm gounded in reality.

The club can't win with some. Last year it was too many loan signings and not enough money spent.

This window is the biggest spend in years and only one loan deal.

Some ****s are never happy.

No point in getting in a striker just for the sake of it, surely we have learned that by now.

Hopefully it will free up a place in the squad for someone to come through.

Reading that Ronny didn't fancy any of the loan strikers we were offered and decided Stokes could do a better job.

Makes you wonder what kind of pish we were legitimately offered on loan <yikes>

Bolton wanted Celtic to pay 80% of Stokes wages if they took him on loan. <laugh>

He can't exactly be on a big wage, they must be proper skint.
