So having read this report, it would appear that this well and truly ruins WebelBhoy's assessment that the PSNI are only heavy-handed against Catholics.

Webel questioned why in a previous Protestant riot, that the PSNI didn't blast them with the water cannon, but they had no problems using it on Catholics.

It would seem that last night, the PSNI used 19 baton rounds on Protestants.

WebelBhoy also stated that it was understandable that people will react when provoked, like the Protestants were last night.
