You cite this question to prove this assertion "and yet show remarkable restraint in the face of Loyalist violence in east Belfast the previous week?" the key here is this “?” it is a question posed in direct respose to this: The context of you, again, misrepresenting me is that you were asking for examples of how the police may react towards rioters. If you had actually read the thread, as I reuested, you’d have also seen this little exchange; so evidently, I made no such suggestion at all…..more lies from Hero.

Point 3: I didn’t say anything about Protestants at all. You appear to be suggesting that the provocation suffered by the Ardoyne residents is the exact same as what happened in Portadown. This is a strange comparison to make. In one instance the residents of the Ardoyne have a sectarian organisation allowed to march on streets on and adjacent to Nationalist areas without entering into any negotiations about it all. I think it is understandable that people are riled at this. In Portadown Loyalist flags were placed in a position to intimidate Nationalists. The police removed them. I think getting riled at this is much less understandable. Too easy Hero.
Except that wasn’t the crux of my argument at all, was it Hero? So instead of condemning those seeking to provoke the nationalist community, you’d rather tell lies about me and lose 2 arguments in the process….
