Good move for the guy himself to get out of the dead league.... but we need to have a look at how he does. not sure he's really all that.
And if he signs his £200k contract instead of staying on £35k for another year it wont be very smart by Madrid![]()

He won't a new contract at OT, just been said on SSN that LvG saying he preferred Navas to De Gea means there's no way he'll stay at Utd.
source; The Spanish footy know all on Sky who has been told that by "team De Gea".![]()

They normally do I think but because we had bank holiday ours was delayed.
hmmm you guys have chriped up having seen him virtually go.
you do realize that this is all hollow after you mugged him off and treated him badly... just like di maria has started talking about your manager now?
.... i'm sure if in the unlikely even contract talks break out a release clause of 29million euros will be requested along with this 200k per week you seem to want to throw at a guy who you dropped to make sure he could move and then got in a replacement NAD THEN begging another guy off real to cover for too.
Oh and i'm sure both clubs are blaming each other but while we sit back I'm sure you will be standing tall and utterly denying it could possibly have been your club that delayed.
all more egg on face and more talk no utd fans want to have when they wanted a worldie to arrive not a 19 year old with potential.

Pretty sure the extra £9mil may tempt him for 12 months![]()

Martial who?
There are some reassuring noises coming out of Manchester United about Monaco striker Anthony Martial not being a panic buy but rather Louis van Gaal having been monitoring him for some time.
If true, it seems no-one bothered to ask captain Wayne Rooney his opinion on his potential strike-partner.
Footage has emerged of United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin speaking to French television on Monday about Rooney's reaction to speculation linking Martial to United.
"To be honest, yesterday on the plane, Wayne Rooney came to speak to me and asked me who Martial was, because the English press had started to speak," said Schneiderlin.
"I told him he’s a great player with great potential, who has played some good matches with Monaco last season and the beginning of this."

noooooooooooooooooo... rooney is always consulted by Van Gaal... i only read this this weekend about how close they are and how they talk all the time.

Strolls around the SPL up against 1 lone and very average striker every week with his side on the front foot most of the game.Soton agree deal for Van Dijk.
Think he's a very good defender. Interesting to see how he does in the PL. If Rodgers is still here in a years time, we'll no doubt buy him for treble the price.
So £58.75m for Martial.

Right, where are we at with the potential deal of the day: Anthony Martial to Manchester United? Well, our man Saj Chowdhury has dug out this nugget... Monaco say the deal is 80m euros (£58.75m) including bonus. The club were reluctant to sell him until United raised the initial fee they were willing to pay to 60m euros (£44m).
That is one almighty amount of cash for a 19-year-old. More eye-watering than a onion enema
£59m for him? Where's this come fromHave Madrid massively popcorned United then?
String them along until the death of the window and then pull the plug knowing the player can't be sold eslewhere and they can have him on a Bosman next summer?
Seems a very odd chain of events to me.

When he's played in Europe his defending has looked iffy to say the least. A massive punt at £11.5m imo.
