Madrid playing games and by signalling their intent to get de gea they get t speak to him and put Madrid firmly in his head... But not completing it mean can get him for free on pre contract in January.

Wouldnt be be surprised if that were to happen
I think you're right. I haven't followed the saga, just read what people have posted on here and by all accounts it looks like a smart move by Real. I also haven't watched De Gea other than our games, is he worth all the fuss?

De Gea is top class. In a few years, he will be world class with age.

Pretty much got United top 4 by himself.

How many players have had their heads turned by Utd this summer?

The bbc salford boys are making it sound like the mancs are the only victims of the ploy but what goes around comes around.

"Two months of excitement and desperation for football fans is almost over as the transfer window nears its conclusion.

A British youngster cost almost £50m, Manchester United were linked with everyone, their goalkeeper had his head turned by Real Madrid, transfer requests were handed in, U-turns were performed and the most expensive footballer in British history jumped ship to Paris."

Glad ilori didn't want to go on loan but just hope he gets game time. Think he'll have to wait until the cups and Europa to get a chance (can't see him being thrown into the prem just yet) but if he makes an impression in cups no reason he can't work his way into team of Skrtel and lovren continue to **** up like they did against West Ham.

These deadlines in various European countries need to be synchronised. Apparently, Holland and France have closed at the
same time as Spain. In England its this evening as we know, and in Portugal its......................September 22nd <yikes> ****ing ridiculous

To tell their No1 keeper he is not wanted and force him to agree a move to a club he didn't want to and then fail to fill in the paperwork. Yeah, real smart business that <ok>

You're talking about something different. I have no idea what Real have done with their own players ...... I was saying holding off on DG to get him on free is smart - because it is <ok>

And if he signs his £200k contract instead of staying on £35k for another year it wont be very smart by Madrid :emoticon-0100-smile

Soton agree deal for Van Dijk.

Think he's a very good defender. Interesting to see how he does in the PL. If Rodgers is still here in a years time, we'll no doubt buy him for treble the price.
