I heard this too. I hope it's true and the situation is resolved. I do rate the guy. His experience is unrivalled in the Prem, and is akin to what VDS brought to our defence. An underrrated keeper who's first couple of season seems to be what he's judged on, unfairly considering how good he was after that.

You or Diego need to explain to Smith the consequences of the De Gea move collapsing, he's just posted "that'll teach Real not to play mind games".
Utd are lumbered with a player on good money who will be basically an outcast at OT and will move to Madrid in may for nothing.
