I haven't been yet this season, but someone asked me about this earlier.
Short answer, I have no idea.
My personal view is, it could do to be up, especially as there seem to be a few grumblings from some quarters, but I'll go with the majority.

Presumably people didn't cough up for a banner to be kept in a store room, so it would be nice if they actually put it up.
It was never going to be up forever. I'm happy to go with the concensus. Maybe there's some other use it could be put to.
If the fire certificate's to be believed, I don't think it can.
Dutch, we can put out a request to Trust members for someone to take the banner on if you wish. Let me know what you think.
If people on here are okay with that, there's no issue from me. It's whatever works to get the best out of it.
I think it'd make a decent backdrop for the OSC meet the player events or trust meetings too, so maybe there are a few opportunities to get it on show?

Thought there was talk on here that the location last season was the best to be had at that time, and the club said that a better place would be found for supporters banners and flags after renegotiations with advertisers.
Aye get them up Dutch. I don't know the logistics but can't the club just designate a member of staff to sort them every home game.
Yep, that's pretty much what was said, but I don't recall the timescales, and I've not spoken to anyone at the club about it since last time it was mentioned on here.
I don't know what stage things are at with that. I've contacted the club to ask about the banners, so maybe I'll find out more later.
That was pretty much the arrangement last season. I don't know yet why it hasn't followed through to this.
