“If there’s one area where we’re maybe a little bit short, it’s a natural wide left player,” said Bruce

anyone think of any decent ones?

bar the obv. in Charles N'Zogbia few on smb talking about Honda from CSKA played for Japan in World Cup all I have seen of him is this 2bh...

rekon he'd be an Automatic choice like and seems to have a good engine ... I'll get my coat

Adam Johnson ........... if Man City sign any more players they will only get a dozen games each this season. They must be letting a few go somewhere along the line.

Might be worth a stab, johnson may be unsettled by a bid from us and the opportunity to play every week

I watched that Honda chap in the world cup & was very impressed TBH.

Quick, good with the ball at his feet, can put in a good cross & has one hell of a shot on him.

    Would be worth a punt.

Well I'm predominantly left footed and my fav position was a L/W.

I've supported/followed Sunderland from the age of 7.

I can give up on the retirement thing, and be put on a 'pay as you play' deal.

Don't think I would want to be asking for too much in wages either.

think honda is out of our reach, only the top teams stand a chance. Pretty sure adam johnson is left footed. pasquale foggia is a lw at lazio and is available and willing to move to england. they are a rare breed quality left wingers which is why nzogbia even at 12m and 60k is a good deal.

I'd love Johnson, Honda could turn out to be a gamble. Riveros also looked very good at the world cup. Speaking of which, what's happened to the guy?

We have no chance of getting Honda, he is quality, well out of our reach.
Would love to get Johnson, again don't think it would happen, but if given a choice I'd have him over zog any day of the week.

Agree with the Honda posts except maybe the "good engine" bit very poor. If we don't have a go we'll never find out don't think Honda has been linked with any top teams yet so lets put a bid in he can only say no, it's not like he's a welsh reserve team player is it?

I don't think Honda would be unachievable at all.

If i had a free pick he'd be my second choice, after Johnson (who is left footed btw), and Honda is unlike a lot of players from far eastern country, as in he's 6ft plus and very strong, he'd be a revelation in the league, i'm sure of it.

He has been linked with notable sides, United, Arsenal and Inter, but they ain't bid, and he might fancy England.

He'd cost well in excess of the £12million touted for N'Zogbia though, and i imagine his salary at CSKA is absolutely enormous.

Is it CSKA Moscow he plays for or Sofia?

The Russian league is the highest paid in Europe as they are awash with oil money so there is no way we could match his wages but playing in the PL might just tempt him.

Moscow mate, i imagine he's on 80k minimum, there was interest form bigger leagues when he went from Venlo, so i can only assume the money swang it.

I agree that the EPL challenge may overule that, players from that part of the world are not known as mercenary, in fact the opposite.

Cracking player, but i think he's untouchable while the Swans are in the Premier, for this season at least.

Class player mate, but right footed, we need to balance things out.

If we're playing right footed on the left, Sess is a better bet than Krajkaer, purely because he's quicker and beats his man better.

Is he right footed? Didnt realise, then I'd agree Johnson's a good shout, should get him before Man City ruin his career.
