Did anyone hear the Stat man on TMS ( Andrew south African ) commenting on the time when his Daughter swallowed her tooth ? He said they had to write a nice letter to the Tooth Fairy explaining that The girl HAD lost a tooth , but had no evidence .

Tuffnell said " Well you could have looked for it " .......

Well that's that. I haven't watched much of the highlights but this seems to have been a very poor series. There's been too much Ashes cricket over the last few years and we've reached a low point here with five incredibly one-sided matches.

Daily Mail are reporting that BT have paid Cricket Australia £350m for five years worth of exclusive UK rights, starting this November, to Australia home matches. So that includes the next Ashes series.

So today will have been Sky's last showing of Ashes cricket for the next four years.

Read that and am very annoyed....the same way people without Sky must have been annoyed when it was lost to terrestrial TV. BT Sport will soon get very expensive to pay for all this, so I suspect adding it will soon cost more than the small sum presently asked from BT customers. I didn't take it up this time, so not sure whether I will for the Ashes (though I love it). Sky are going to have to be careful or it won't be a case of adding BT but whether you have one or the other.

P.s. Sky know how to cover sport....hope BT up their game.

Klinger's hamstring being close to going could go one of two ways: he gets out slowly and limply, or he opens his arms and tees off. I'm not sure that that 6 from him just then necessarily means we're in the latter camp, given that it was only Ervine who he hit it off.

Either way, I can't see any quick 2s being taken.

Bring back Fidel to bowl at him. :)
