Never going to happen - human nature to be flattered that someone is refusing to play for someone else because they want to come to you. If someone we all wanted was doing it to another club to force a move to Saints, I think we'd probably all love it too. Think of the player you would most like at Saints - someone we'd realistically be able to get at the very boundaries of our ability and budget/wage structure. Imaging the coup! Now imagine it looks off, but the player suddenly starts refusing to play for the club he's currently at, as he wants to play for Saints so much. Add in that he might currently play for Liverpool or Spurs!

Tell me you wouldn't welcome him with open arms!

If it was from Spurs or Liverpool I would have thought he's have a good reason like never being played or something.

I think if it was from a smaller/foreign club I would be reluctant, knowing his personality leads to such actions, or bad advice from agents.
