You HAVE earned the right yo be in this league.... CORRECT !
So at the end of this AMAZING journey which has gained you ADMIRATION from around the WORLD... You get to play a team (Sunderland) who according to you can't play football ?? Well done for getting to these dizzy heights!
As for being jealous... Really ?!?!?
We've been in the lower echelons of the league structure (albeit not as low as Swansea) and I've helped fill grounds around the country with these amazing supporters. Yes, we are currently struggling in the 'best' league in the world whilst continuing to average 40,000 crowds.
I support a club with an amazing history... League wins, FA Cup wins etc etc
I first visited The Vetch with Darlington..... Me and my mates numbered more than your pathetic support at the SoL.
Enjoy the ride with the big boys.... And who knows ... One Day... MAYBE ... One day.. You'll have a history that can rival Wigan, Burnley etc etc ?

History of Wigan? They've won more trophies than you in the last 50 years![]()

Do you know what 'History' means ?!?!?
****Tard![]()
It's easy to sell out when you don't take a FULL allocation.
If 'nobody' means becoming an established side in the PL and admired around the world for whst we have done on and off the field I'll take that. Afterall other than propping up the PL table, what purpose does Sunderland have existing? Can't play football and fans emptying the stadium game after game quicker than you lot sliding into the relegation zone.
We've earned the right to be in this league, must be jelous at the realisation your club will never be admired like ours.
Trying to compare the history of Swansea to that of Sunderland is akin to comparing a new public lavatory to the Colosseum. In other words there is no comparison. Swansea are having their little fling with the big boyos, but will soon return to their normal level before too long.![]()
Here's a post i've nicked from rtg....just for the swansea lads..
Its written by a exeter fan, about tonights game....puts you welsh ****s to shame.
Not If Exeter can help it, we will be travelling well for the game. Plenty coaches booked and people car sharing....we brought 3000 to Leeds on Saturday and 750 to Carlo in the leAgue. Have taken 770 to Carlisle before now for a bigger game. Granted it's a Tuesday but more than 650 will come
Well done to Exeter - let's hope they have a great night.

Come on, be fair and answer the question .......... why don't you call it Abertawe?
I'm genuinely interested, if you don't know the answer that's fair enough.
It surely needs eradicating as it doesn't really serve any purpose..The official name of any sports Club is established in its constitution, which of course can be changed.
The majority of people who live in Swansea speak English so there is no huge desire to change it.
Welsh speakers call the City Abertawe and to be honest it wouldnt bother me if we changed our name to Abertawe.
As for road signs etc being in Welsh I suppose the tax payer is now paying the price for an attempted eradication of the Welsh language by the London government in the last century.
Ah I see - I didn't realise that 1973 was outside the last 50 years - you see, when they teach maths in England, 2015-1973=42 (which is under 50) - Or do you include the "Football League Trophy" in your reckoning? In that case we've won the Championship quite a few times too - so basically you're full of ****!History of Wigan? They've won more trophies than you in the last 50 years![]()

I see the number of years are going down! PS..Are you counting divisional champions trophies in your calculations..I stand corrected. In the last 42 years Sunderland have won less trophies than Wigan Athletic ....and Wimbledon.
You look on the Swans website. Sunderland normally bring about a 1000 when the away allocation is 2000. Best away fans are normally Arsenal who always fill their end and are always noisy. Worst are Everton and Newcastle.
