DON'T START THAT!!!

Sorry! <sorry> I didn't mention the team name!!

Nah I'm just always nervous for big games, and (for me) this is as big a game as we've had for a long time, I will be absolutely gutted if we didn't make group stages. Though I think now we know what we are up against we will be ready and a nice 2-0 win!

I am not so sure. I have not been so unimpressed with Southampton for ages as after the home leg of this tie. This seems to have carried over to the Watford game, although i wasnt there. At least v Watford Koeman set the team up to avoid defeat and at least that aspect worked. General passing game and effective attempts on the opposition goal has been woeful thus far this season. Still only way is up - maybe they will surprise me on Thursday night. Hope so !

Was that the home tie that in the second half the opposition got out of their own half once and we had 95 million attempts at goal and another 18 thousand nearlys?

*I may have exaggerated a little in this post :)*

If we start the same way as we did last week, against them, and take one of the chances we create, then I think we should win with a bit to spare.
I expect we will fill the team with height again, to try and negate their main threat, and I'm hoping that Romeu and Wanyama will be more settled and prevent free shots coming in from just outside the box.
Oh and PLEASE can we leave someone with pace, up front, when defending corners.
1) it keeps at least 2/3 of their players occupied.
2) if we hoof a clearance up to half way, their defenders don't have time to gather the ball and measure a pass back into the danger zone.
3) if we get a bit of luck the one player could actually get through on goal.

lol! I like to know what we are up against! I know nothing of this guy yet, a bit more Googling required here.

Ha ha, see i fully trust every official to carry out their job to 100% perfection therefore makes no difference to me who the officials are.

I would be worried if it was an official from what we might call a 'soft' league, where there's not much physical play.

Based on what we saw last week, if it's 0-0 late on, or FCM are winning, we could see a lot of time wasting too.

yes please - in fact I don't care if they don't have pace, just put a body up there!

Quietly confident. FCM played way above themselves at St Mary's so I'm hoping a slight change in tactics will be just enough to throw them. To be fair, although we improved 2nd half they looked like they could handle the long balls forward all night long.

They are 4 points clear at the top of the danish league but have drawn thier last 2 league games and the last one was against Esbjerg who are 2nd bottom of the league. I really think this is a game that we should be winning easily although i thought that about the home leg.

Can't quite determine why, but I'm confident about this one. I think it will be 0-2 to saints.

Id never have noticed mate ! Yes that very home tie - like i said EFFECTIVE attempts on opposition goal have been woeful, all 95 million of them ! We have been sh... and i dearly hope we start to improve Thurs night in Denmark.
