If you read here regularly you would know I've been on Pelle's back for a while, but the second half on Thursday he was excellent, so I can't agree about that game.

Other games definitely. Jayrod will give you that direct drive - just a few more games.

I watched the game in the end via a slightly iffy feed and saw the improvement in his game from games when I (and you) have been slightly critical of him before.

If that kind of performance was more prevalent then I would understand his ever present position, but with seemingly anyone but him being asked to be subbed.... It just surprises me that we don't try something different up top.

There are those who will be baying for Austin-and I can see a case for him being at the club, but all I think us that as an attacking force, we merely tinker with the midfielders/playmakers but never Pelle.

This says that a £10 million fee has been agreed, and that Van Dijk won't travel to Malmo with Celtic, but will instead join up with his new Southampton teammates. Don't think the last part can be true, seeing as Celtic were adamant that he wouldn't be sold until they knew their European fate.
