I think we can all agree that consistency has always been a problem.
As stated by the Premier league the real problem is the overwhelming bias towards Liverpool on behalf of referees. They have finally come out and said enough is enough, and thank god as this bias has given the dippers an inflated sense of their teams ability. I am all for justice in football and this is the first step the PL have taken to ensure some long lost parity in Liverpool games and this long lost parity I'm sure most will agree has long been a cancer in English football.

It'll be interesting to see if refs go too much the other way, now, and give absolutely nothing for 'Pool. It would be no less than they deserve.

Well, 'Pool have the chance to go top of the league, tomorrow, when they beat Arsenal. The game will be a real test of Brendan's nerve. If he ****s it up - and he will have to **** it up to lose - I think the Mousers will justly be able to claim that Brendan lacks what it takes to push 'Pool to the very top, and an early exit would be advisable.

I too only bet on certainties like Arsenal being above Spurs in the PL which I do every year with one of my mates but we keep it friendly fivers (but it is over £100 to me since 1992).
