The linesman didn't know it. That's all that really matters tbh. People still going on about it is just because they fear the mighty Liverpool. If it was Palace vs Villa yesterday, it would have been forgotten already!
To a small extent. I think it's because it involved a reinterpretation of the law - one that the officials, for whatever reason didn't seem au fait with, that it's been highlighted. It still amounts to an undeserved, unearned 3 points. And a slap in the face for Bournemouth, who deserved at least a point.
Come off it. The reason that this is still being discussed is that fans are getting exasperated of this uneven playing field and Liverpool scamming yet more points. The same happens for United too and Liverpool fans are the first to express their rage at referees favouring United. However when it's Liverpool the fans adopt a " sometimes it goes your way, sometimes it doesn't " philosophy. Much as I dislike United and the same sort of favours they have gotten throughout the years, can you imagine the public outcry had it been them in the same position v Bournmouth ? Half the Liverpool board would probably be on hunger strike too.
I hope all mouser watch fans are going to watch the game tonight? I fully expect Arsenal to get an offside goal so that you can all rant about justice. Imagine if we get battered? The joy will be overwhelming, you all hold back if that happens don't blow your wad to quickly. Enjoy the moment, make it last.
HIAG will have his cock in his hand tonight watching this game. If Liverpool lose, he'll try and wum them. If Arsenal lose he'll try and wum us. The saving grace though is that whoever loses, he will inevitably **** up his wum attempts and make himself look like fool again
I'm sure he'll still find a way to try and make a wum out of it. It will be a piss poor attempt, that is guaranteed. Watch this space ...
Both teams will still be above Spurs. In fact both teams would still be above Spurs if they managed to engineer the first shared defeat in the history of football.
Tonight is a game that @Hoddle Is A God is a winner. Arsenal lose, he'll be slating Arsenal. If Liverpool lose he'll be on here like a rat up a drain pipe. I wonder what he'll think if it's a draw? I guess in previous seasons that may have been his preferred result, but now Spurs are merely a mid table club (at best) the result means nothing to Spurs this season. EDIT: I should have read the few posts above first
I quite often use the edit button to change a typo or add a comment. I don't get why people would use it to try and make cover ups, especially if it's already been quoted
I see that my name is being taken in vain by some of you. There's no need for that, lads. I'm just doing my job with this thread, that's all. It's a public service; no need to have a pop. Anyway, I'm thinking that it's going to be 'Pool's night. Neither team has covered itself in glory, so far, this season, but I think of the two, 'Pool will be able to string together just enough chances to get the result. If that does happen, I won't be wumming the Gooners. **** happens (as they say). It's not my style to wum, any more, those dark days are long gone. On the other hand, if 'Pool lose, I will most certainly use this thread to offer some form of analysis. I wouldn't call it wumming, as such, although I do recognised that one man's analysis post-'Pool loss is another Mouser's wum. It's swings and roundabouts, obviously. If it's a draw, it will all depend on the game, as to whether or not I decide to provide any analysis for the Gooners. They always seem to respect what I have to say. Again, there will be no wumming, just straight reporting.
2 points from 3 games. Nice. None of your goals were offside so I bet you are over the moon with the lack of honest points
