I actually found the game last Monday very difficult to watch. I have a soft spot for Bournemouth and their story in recent years has been a remarkable tale and everyone at the club seems down to earth and modest. They gave it their all last Monday and they deserved at least a point I thought. Despite the valiant effort they never had a chance, not because of the "resurgent" Liverpool but rather some all too familiar pool biased refereeing . Of course this latest injustice in the eyes of the scouse fans is totally justified as Raheem Sterling was wrongly adjudged as being offside against Man City, almost two years ago.
From the Premier League statement regarding the issue of the tainted winning goal we can take a very clear message, that being "Yes this constant favourable refereeing attitude towards Liverpool is disgusting, but we are seeking to distance ourselves from this footballing abomination. Italy has had match fixing, Scotland it's sectarian issues and we clearly see this never ending bias towards Liverpool as England's own particular plight and we understand it must stop"
