Don't know. Probably the same as all the kids that support Messi and Ronaldo. lol

Which is much better than supporting Manchester United or Chelsea. I can accept people around Hampshire supporting Barca or Real, I loathe people supporting the PL "glamour" clubs as there is a great club (Southampton) on their doorstep.

If the rumours become concrete we are in for a busy few days as we approach the climax of this transfer window.

Here's my prediction

Benzema to United in exchange for De Gea
If Mane goes for around £22m who could Manchester United give us in exchange? Wilson?
If Pogba goes to Chelsea he is not going to add to their goalscoring prowess. He does not score that many, if any. So likely to replace someone like Michel who could come to us if Vic goes to Tottenham.
Now I am going to complete my CV to become a journalist at the Mirror, Sun, Metro, Sky!!

Man U wouldn't pay the for £22m for Pedro so no way would they pay what Mane is worth.
And besides Ron said no more players would be sold.

I was really hoping he would call out Man U for briefing their mates up. And he did. :-)

A suggestion in the Mail that Harry Reed and JWP are concerned about how little game time they are getting. We could all guess that...two players thinking they have broken through (especially in JWP's case) but now seeing all these overseas players arriving. JWP mentioned recently that there would be game chances with all the European games (better get through then, James :)). I don't believe they are unsettled, but both will be watching how the wind is blowing.

That almost proved that any old Tom, Dick or DTLW could become a journo :)

JWP did himself no harm at all last night. A selection box of perfect set-piece deliveries and almost scored from his last touch of the game. Plus he got us a penalty! He'll get plenty of time on the pitch this season, Europa or not. Reed I'm not so sure about, but he is only a couple of injuries away from being a key player, so he just has to be patient.

This is what makes football so interesting, how different people see different things.
I agree that JWP did well with set pieces and in winning the penalty, but as a wide, left midfielder, the role he had last night, I thought he was dreadful.
He offered nothing out wide, gave Targett no forward pass options and when it comes to tackling he's about as good at stopping players as a cat flap is at keeping cats out of the house.
I was in the Kingsland Centre, and first half Targett was a very nervous player, EXCEPT for the times Mane switched sides.
Targett then had someone who gave a forward pass option, who wasn't afraid to go wide and take players away from him just by being more mobile than JWP.
Some of the ITKs have said we want a left side midfielder, and we definitely do if RK persists with the team shape we are currently using.

Spot on. We have two wide players that's first instinct is to play centrally, with full backs that don't like to get forward. It was a recipe for disaster. If we play inside forwards/central midfielders on the wing, the width HAS to come from the full backs.

JWP is in and around the squad, it's Reed I'm more puzzled about. He just doesn't seem to get a chance unless he is literally the only option.

I have to agree with you. JWP has great set pieces and he does put in a shift but i see very little quality from him in open play. Don't get me wrong he's not terrible, he just doesn't add much in the general flow of the game. He reminds me of an NFL player who comes on to take the conversions (or whatever they call it) and then toddles off again. He takes up a vital spot in our midfield and in all honestly nothing I've seen lately (set pieces aside) justifies his position.

Glad we're back on topic. What you need is a magnetic cat flap and a cat collar with the appropriate magnet for your cat. Stops stray cats getting in and can be locked if necessary. :D

I know it's been posted before but it cheered me up to read Rons comments last night....

"There will be no more players sold this summer," said the Dutch boss, who has seen Morgan Schneiderlin and Nathaniel Clyne leave the club this summer.

"There's no bid for any player. Not for Sadio Mane, not for Victor Wanyama.

"Write what you want to about the rumours, nobody is going to leave Southampton."
