Think could do with a midfielder that can control the tempo in the middle like Illarramendi <ok>

Hopefully Hendo's injury isn't bad but could do with re-enforcements.
 
As said yesterday...

It all going quiet on Pedro was indeed good news.

Just like Valdes last year it went quiet which I comment must have meant the player and agent were quite happy.

Today sky sources tell us that Pedro has agreed terms with Utd.

Kenwright can't accept anything at this point given the protests and Martinez stating he's going nowhere.

Only the player handing in a transfer request will make him move this window now imo.
 
I think given the moolah splashing round the prem everton don't need to take that.

How long again on his contract? I think its 4 years?

If jon stones has the balls to say hey i aint ready to bench warm when i can play here for 2 more years and really be ready then i think he will stay.

For me he'd be wise to personally.

That could be the case. But if Jose suddenly thought right here's 40mil. Surely that's too good to turn down.

I must admit I'm not his biggest admirer, but that's probably due to not watching him week in week out. But 40mil for a defender is serious money, and a club like Everton could use that money very well.

If it was reinvested in players, it's a good deal for you guys imo.
 
Yeah.... but who will everton buy with **** all time left?

I presume they've something lined up given how long this has gone on... but.... i'd rather keep my CBs if i were martinez and sell on for that fee next summer.

At this point, given the events of the last week - I agree

I think the view will be that he'll probably increase in value this season and with the Euro's to follow, so it might be in the best interests of club and player to wait until next summer.
