I'm not going to join in the doom and gloom after 2 games. Last week was encouraging and this week was very disappointing. Janmaat was an idiot. Cost us the first goal with lazy defending and then cost us any hope with the red card - though we would probably have lost anyway. More importantly it destroyed the opportunity for people to learn more about each other playing in the right positions together for 90 minutes.

Very disappointing to see us play without a striker once Cisse went off, but maybe it was the best way for SM to learn something about the team and get defending practice as a team - god knows we need it! Probably clutching at straws on that point <laugh>

Mitro is a big worry. He needs dropping from the bench for a few games till his head is sorted. Haven't seen anything from him to suggest he's ready for 90 minutes in the first team. At the minute he is a liability. Last week we can put down to excitement, but to risk a red when you're down to 10 is beyond stupid.

Bit harsh on Mitro, he is just a bit Costa i.e. he'll put himself about. Yeah the tackles have been borderline but the ball looks like it will stick. I'd start him and Aarons. I'd also sign a left back and centre back though <laugh>

Last week... You mean against apparently injury ravaged and perennially gutted Southampton?

Southampton got destroyed at home today, by an average looking Everton who will finish about 8th if they don't get injuries themselves.

We genuinely can't defend. At all. It looks like we base our defensive lines on Sunderland's!

<whistle>:)

Look the first 8-10 games are tough, we all agreed we needed to limit our expectations. Its still early days. Today wasn't great but the red card ended it for us. We def need some reinforcements in certain areas. Swansea are a good team and losing 2-0 is no disgrace but then again they took their foot off the gas and if pushed could have got a few more.

The next two games will stink of Dachau concentration camp.

I think it's more annoying the fact that today was a humiliating endictment of our low expectations. We looked like a league 2 team playing away from home against a premier league side today.

Forget the Welsh in an English league **** and take nothing away from Swansea, but it's practically an insult they have to play in a league with the likes of us... At least in season's gone by we tried til Christmas!

mitro is good for us he shows passion ... janmatt is the idiot .. even poor Mbemba showed how to play jefferson Montero better,

but once again that bauldy clown wants driven out of toon now ,,,not worthy ( like where the fook did he come from )
we need at least 4 more players and that **** sitting on a massive bonus if we scrape it again ..

hard season ahead boys ,,, haway FATSO where s the investment ,, 3 poxy players WOW

swansea are a good side think we got off lightly 2-0 with 10 men could have been alot worse probably should have been cant really cast judgement on mitro yet as he has played about 15 mins, not seen the janmatt cards but ive heard it was stupid. glad to get this one out the way and not get hammered but janmatt has screwed us for the next games with that red mbemba at right back and bring in tayls? de jong injured again?

"it's practically an insult they have to play in a league with the likes of us..."

Yes, it must be awful for you.
