According to BT Sport, apparently our squad is "less experienced than it was yesterday"! I assume they mean last year?

We also need to "find a way to get Bertrand back". He's injured! I'm sure we're trying our best to get him fit. (I'm not sure if he thought we hadn't bought him and just hadn't got him back on loan or if he was referring to the injury bizarrely.)

Hate to say it but Koeman error. Can't do anything else with that back 4 but given our weakness in defence starting Vic and Davis as CDM is crazy. Do we really need long mane and tadic alongside Pelle?
We did some nice stuff going forward but had no control of midfield. Obv we miss Morgan but any extra body would have been better than that attacking line up.
Yoshi was very variable and the situation with targett reminded me of fox and hoover at times.
Targett had no protection at all.

First time we've conceded 3 goals since Palace in the cup, in the league was City last November <yikes> Shows how spoilt we were defensively last year.

Letting off steam is one thing, but critisicing the players by saying they should donate their salaries is another. Donating salaries would suggest that the players gave up and owed the fans something, when in fact they tried their hardest, but were beaten by a combination of a side in good form, poor management decisions and a newly-gelling team.

There is a long way to go, but all the pieces are coming together. There are plenty of positives

Bad performance but half of you need to calm down! We are gonna be a mid/lower mid table side, hopefully trying our best in the europa. No point just playing for the PL, then not trying in europa. Useless!

Targett, isnt good enough yet, having no protection in front of him isnt helping matters either! When we have Bertrand and another CB defence will be better. I think Koeman will learn quickly our best team, it certainly isnt with as many attacking players as we have now. Saying we are gonna go down is a bit ridiculous at this stage

5 goals conceded in 2 games. Didn't see that coming, but then we were without 4 of last season's back 5.

Everton were brilliant today. It'll probably be another 2 years before they play that well again.

Also, we had the same number of points this time last year, and look how that turned out

We're almost as bad as Barcelona...

Well I am big enough to admit when I am wrong & I was wrong about today. Truly amazed we won but I think we honestly deserved it. Looks like schiderlin ( or ever how you spell it) is going to be a huge miss for you. Anyway best of luck for the rest of the season.

We played very well today, although I would find it hard to argue we our in good form. With any luck we can use this as a platform to build from.

Targett had no protection at all.

That was evident against Newcastle too. Maybe it would have been okay last season with our first choice back 4, but with so many new players in defence, especially at full back we needed to play a more solid/compact formation. I'm sure Koeman will sort it out, but if we start with the same formation and personnel again I'll be miffed. Early days and at least 1 more player to come in. Onwards and upwards.

You definitely deserved it. Fantastic performance today.

Heavens that was really bad though. Again, sorry all.

We all react spur of the moment. It's therapeutic to let it out within reason. The reaction of the 1,000s of fans that left after the third goal was also knee-jerk. Consequence of expectation and coming down from a high. People aren't used to it.

Reckon today Swansea will show us how bad Newcastle actually are, and that we in fact made them look semi-decent. While we adjust, though, I wish we were wasting these points on top six opposition than supposedly easier games.

everton outplayed us but they hardly had to do anything, we were shockingly bad
