Woo! I bought a membership for the other half (to occasionally share with my brother who lives in London) so we can make sure we get seats next to each other. My brother used her ticket for the Vitesse game, but she's coming Midtjylland one with me*. It'll be the first time we're priority for anything football related!

Then again, I'm deliberately boosting her purchase history by offering tickets get early tickets for my brother when she doesn't want to come, but as he's currently in the US (on some phd summer school thing) she's coming to more games than she otherwise would have done. But we're still actually going - I'm certainly not wasting money on a ticket, in order to not turn up!

I'd say I can't believe people do that, but the seat that was supposed to be occupied between me & my brother at the Vitesse game stayed empty the whole match. I don't understand that mentality, if you're not going to go, then why not give the ticket to a mate\family member who wants to go? I understand it's technically against the T&Cs, but the club doesn't ID people as they go in & I'm pretty sure that as long as they get my money, they don't care which family member comes with me.

*Her first ever match was the Espanyol friendly (she's only been in the UK two years), I've also booked us both tickets to Norwich too - I'm going to Everton alone though.

I'm pretty sure saintkitch is referring to ticket allocation for Europa away games not home games, in Denmark you will be subject to photo ID to get your hands on your ticket.

He was wondering how many would be bought though - I'm sure all 550 will be bought, and 99*% of those who buy them will go - after all, they're being sold to hardcore away fans and probably won't reach general sale.

*There's always one who can't make it - even at the JPT final, the seat next to me was empty!

Killer, you seem to attract a lot of empty seats... Is someone trying to tell you something? :)

Could be - but it only ever happens to me in 'big' matches - run of the mill league matches, I go alone & get squished by fat blokes on all sides; league 1 vs Man U, in the cup, then me and my mum had a free seat either side of the pair we were sitting on! :)

Fat blokes should not be allowed to wear thick coats at a match in winter....they are big enough already and should rely on blubber for insulation.

Yeah i was just referring to away euro games, hopefully we will get through and get 3 teams in our group with 50k capacities so that the away allocation will be bigger. Fair play to all those who are elligable for away euro tickets and obviously for £25 (i think thats the price) you'd be stupid not to buy one wheteher or not you could actually make the game.

I think, as I have got older, that the seats have got narrower.
For the Vitesse game I was sat next to the incredible Hulk's not so little brother.
It was a case of one sitting forward and one back, to fit.
