We really are considering who we could have had if we weren't seeded.

When you look at look at Aberdeen's fixture, it doesn't seem that bad. We want to be in this comp, we need to embrace whoever we get.

With away support allocation a minimum of 5% of the stadium capacity, the saints allocation could be as low as 600.
As a relatively obscure side, I don't know their average attendance, so hopefully they will offer more.
Personally I have to hope we get through to the group stages and hopefully i'll have the opportunity to travel.

Okay, that one gets a passing grade. I stand corrected.

We (man city) played them in the Europa league about 2009 and only scraped through on pens, far better than I expected them to be.
Our allocation was 550 but lots of city fans got tickets in the home end with no fuss
It was a decent away trip, worth making the effort

    Where the **** is Midtjylland?

This map will help. I thought I would look into the travelling options for fans.
Unfortunately there is no ferry services from the UK to Scandinavia at the moment, so unless you want an epic journey then a flying machine is the best option
Flying into the capital of Copenhagen gives plenty of options and would make a good long weekend, but as you can see from the map it's a fair distance from the stadium. It's a four hour train journey to be more precise.

The nearest airport is Billund which is a 40 minute car journey from the stadium.
Billund is also the home of the famous Legoland theme park and Ryanair operate regular flights from gatwick and stansted. Prices on sky scanner currently start from £150 for a return journey for a single adult

Apologies if this article has already been posted. It mentions the wider ignorance of the EL by EPL clubs. With the exception of one: http://www.bing.com/news/apiclick.aspx?ref=BDIGeneric&aid=C98EA5B0842DBB9405BBF071E1DA7651530FFE51&tid=E1032037F312487F9FBD48F0ABBD702F&url=http://www.punditarena.com/football/english-football/sokeefe/england-cant-afford-keep-ignoring-europa-league/&c=jyZeETJp3E1gKnYy_664MU-169ix3HL9lkJvasCe4Gw&mkt=en-gb

EDIT: Oh, and I've changed this EL Draw title to our EL 2015-16 thread in general. OK Saintsfcfan.?

That article sums things up very nicely. The only ones who might have a valid fear of the Europa League are clubs with little money who fear relegation...not something you can throw at Spurs, Liverpool, Saints or WHU. Bilic may feel justified by his win against Arsenal, but a correlation isn't a causation. They may have won anyway and got through in the Europa....what a week that would have been. A top ten finish and a good run in the Europa (dare we even hope to win it?) would make this a good season for us. And at the end we will have a battle-hardened team with European experience. With Spurs and Liverpool, it is probably plain snobbery and a fear they will lose out on top four....but as the article says winning this cup qualifies a team for the CL...and we could lose our 4th place qualifier.

Saints (as ever) have the right attitude...it's not solely about money, it's about playing games of football.

Bbc has it down as 6pm. They had 8.05 as soon as the draw was made for vitesse so could be right.

    OS still has 'TBC'

As far as I can see BBC has every Europa game down for 18:00 at the moment - and will presumably change them if needed.

Does anyone know why the delay in announcing the KO time?

Saints Twitter yesterday said 'still not confirmed'

Frustrating for those of us who live further away - a later kick off time means we could get there after work, an earlier one means we can't - so don't know whether to buy tickets or not!

I guess the various TV media have sorted their knickers and shuffled their programmes and now the time is revealed.
