I'm surprised there isn't a standby lynch mob waiting for that scumbag to cross the border...
I Still think Michu would be a good shout for us. He's be perfect if Alex Neil gets his attitude into line. We will probably end up with Adebayor. Not the type of striker to challenge Jerome, but he'd keep Grabban on his toes at the very least. Another name to throw in the mix: Naismith from Everton?
It's surely today-or-bust for a new signing to be in contention against Sunderland, and even that relies on him being at full fitness. I can't see it happening.
I think if Adebayor is going anywhere, it'll be to link up with Sherwood at Villa.I Still think Michu would be a good shout for us. He's be perfect if Alex Neil gets his attitude into line. We will probably end up with Adebayor.
I think AN can get him back.I think if Adebayor is going anywhere, it'll be to link up with Sherwood at Villa.
I'm torn on Michu, if we could get the player of two seasons ago then without a doubt, but I'm not sure that player exists any longer.
Not too difficult to turn GROEDER into a number plate. I would imagine Cardiff are after somebody like Turner with a bit of luck.
Pulis has hinted he's willing to let Victor Anichebe and Brown Ideye go. Any interest? They wouldn't be my first choices, but both Powerful big strikers.
More I think of it, the more I think Victor Anichebe could be a solid buy. Over 6FT, bit of pace, works really hard, Prem experience. Seems similar to Jerome.
This is true, but I would have thought the same about Cameron Jerome when we signed him. 2 goals in 29 for Stoke the last season before we go him. 3 in 26 before that. He's been great for us.It would be more desirable if we could sign someone with at least a half-decent goal return. Anichebe has never been a big scorer and whilst I agree with him being big, powerful and with experience he just doesn't score anywhere near enough goals for me.
I'm guessing Ricky isn't in the gaffer's plans by the way? Anyone had any word on what his next move might be?

So you wouldn't even have Jerome playing? He's the best we have at the moment, and has earned his chance. He's already scored 1 in 1 this season. The fact we had ******ed officials, so wont be counted, isn't his fault.Yeah, in the Championship
Will Barton call the Wet Sham fans stupid or will he finally begin to realise his past behaviour has at last bit him on the bum?
