Chelsea only have Costa, Falcao and Remy as strikers at the moment, right? One injury prone, one coming off a dreadful season, and they'll let the third go to us for a reasonable fee or on loan?

Can't see it somehow.

A very good point. Shame, I think he would be perfect for us. Lets hope Chelsea are out for a striker. I thought they were short already.
 
I don't often post about transfer rumours but I've seen a few links to Jozy Altidore who used to play for Sunderland and also seen that we've been linked to Dutch striker Bas Dost from VfL Wolfsburg. Dost cost be a good signing, but really don't want Altidore.

Jozy Altidore...I would cry my heart out!
 
There is so little credible gossip on here I have had a look at some of the big teams with large squads to see if there are any good forwards.
A loan move for Joel Campbell from Arsenal is not beyond the realms of possibility.

Not the type of striker to challenge Jerome, but he'd keep Grabban on his toes at the very least. Another name to throw in the mix: Naismith from Everton?

It's surely today-or-bust for a new signing to be in contention against Sunderland, and even that relies on him being at full fitness. I can't see it happening.

I believe he has no future at Arsenal and is unwilling to be loaned out again; as in he will leave this summer on a permanent basis.
 
Read into this what you will. I followed a car with Glen Roeders personalised plate into Norwich last night. Someone on his way to Cardiff? I can't think Cardiff have anyone we want.
