Awoniyi plays for Kalmar FF in the Swedish league and the 17-year-old Nigerian youth international is a highly-rated forward. He turns 18 tomorrow and it's said that he will celebrate his birthday by signing a contract at Anfield. Not bad, as far as birthday presents go

17 yr old Nigerian?

He doesn't look about 35 by any chance does he <whistle>

Not in his passport:laugh:.On a serious note, beyond people like Jay Jay Okacha, group ....and some years after, it's not happening again. I strongly doubt it if he is over 18 years old. Don't judge a book by its cover.:laugh::laugh:. These days you can prove peoplesage medically.

Didn't you used to big up Sterling as well? Maybe we can sell Tex for 49 million next summer?
I was the voice for the youth, but have grown disillusioned.lol You watch them and dream of them forming some sort of Barcelona team from La Masia, and then 90% turn out to be pants, 5% believe the hype, 2% never get the chance, 2% becoem good then move........And you are left with 1%....Flanno

In a convo about Shaqiri you've managed to have a pop a Lallana

Because I'm comparing similar players in our squad to potential targets. We complain about our transfer business and this is an example of buying an inferior player for twice the amount.

No its not!!!!!

Come on Jimmy ffs.

They are separated by 12 months and the guy who ****ed up and ended up at stoke was pursued by us and bid on twice over two windows once for 18mil.

As he refused to join we bought markovic instead I reckon.

Markovic v shaqiri is a lot less convienent an arguement for you that lallana bashing.

The point being..... we don't need any excuse to bash lallana like this as it takes away from the central point of how bad an option lallana is. Please stick to the root of the issue. Lallana was never good enough for top 4 objective day one.

Difference is - Markovic is young who was bought for the future. But I do agree to some extent - we could have bought someone with more experienced at the time instead of a raw talent.
