If there's a way to **** it up, England will find it. I'm
Just hoping that they've closed all possible **** up points on day one!

So we lead by 326 with our first innings still going. The only question is whether the team will have 2 or 3 days off to celebrate winning the Ashes in 4 tests. Who saw this coming?

It's almost as if the club thinks; we pay them enough they can bloody well earn it!

I've already had a moan about the pursuit of money (in the short term) but it does not seem to penetrate the minds of Levy and co that PL points are a lot more valuable than a quick buck in Germany.

Not me, but when do look back with hindsight, it seems the Aussies are poor away from home. Their batsman are great on fast, hard pitches with true bounce. Their bowlers rely on pace and bounce. They aren't equipped to cope with the moving ball. The batsmen go with hard hands at balls they should leave and the bowlers don't have the same skills as Anderson and Broad to swing and seam the ball. They have been found out in typical English conditions. There are debates whether Smith or Root is a better batsman. It's not even a contest. Smith is a world beater on Aussie pitches; Root has all round skills. He can play all types of bowling in all conditions. He reads length superbly, which means he is equally proficient on the front or back foot.

The BBC lost the rights for lower league games? When did that happen?
Is the Channel 5 one any good?

Has the Capital One Cup become the equivalent of the Europa League for Championship clubs - any unnecessary distraction?

    Some results tonight - Blackburn 1 Shrewsbury 2, Brentford 0 Oxford 4, Luton 3 Bristol City 1, Huddersfield 1 Notts County 2, Nottm F 3 Walsall 4, Port Vale 1 Burnley 0, Bolton 0 Burton 1.

Fantastic game in the Supercup tonight. Barcelona were 4-1 up Sevilla got it back to 4-4 . Into extra time Pedro makes 5-4 Barca on 115 mins and Sevilla miss open goal on 120 + 2.

the Boom Boom Club will be rocking this season.

Stoke up next, they have good side (for their level), lots of pace and will have a go at our defence, lose that and Pochettino will be already under pressure but maybe new striker will have arrived by then.

I know somebody who ordered something from Holland that was never dispatched, and then fell foul of eBay giving such a narrow window to make a complaint that the payment vanished into the ether forever.
