To be fair, it was only funny because HIAG had made a failed wum attempt with his Chelsea 'lost' comment, tried to take the piss when I asked him how that could be, then subsequently tried to hide his mistake and has spent his time squirming since. He turned a simple failed wum into a monumental squirm fest.

Silly ****er should have just fessed up in the first place :tongue:

What was funny was the timing. He was trying to take the piss and I let him walk into his own trap. I had to prompt the silly ****er several times to check whether he'd made a mistake, but he carried on unabated.

Then when the penny finally dropped. He desperately tried to backtrack, first editing his comments, then claiming that I'd edited them, then claiming that they hadn't been edited at all. The actual editing wasn't that much of a big deal, it was HIAG's squirming when he realised his WUM had backfired that turned it into a big deal.

As I keep saying, he tries to WUM and ends up unwittingly wumming himself. <ok>

Whether he did or did not edit his comment is surely not this big of a deal.

Like I just said, if he'd just fessed up to the wum fail in the first place it wouldn't have been a big deal. HIAG turned it into a big deal by continuing to try and take the piss and then had a massive 'oh ****' moment when, after I'd prompted him several times, he realised he'd ****ed it up. The ensuing squirm fest just added to his humiliation.

I've got nothing against HIAG, I just think it's funny when he makes an arse of himself when his wums backfire. <ok>

No it's not, I edit posts quite often. But denying he did so when it says 'edited by' or similar just is funny, continuing to deny it just makes the wind up attempt even funnier.

No doubt he'll come back with his master wum garbage, when the joke is on him

Thank you for your wise words, Sky. I expect the view that you take of things to be exactly how most people view things. In other words, the only "monumental" thing that has happened is PISKIE's OCD-driven spiral into madness. It is rather odd, but is, unfortunately, something that we all appear to have grown used to.

As for PISKIE grinding me down... I had to smile at that. For the past 72 hours, now, I have been slowly ratcheting up the anti and taking him as close as I ever have to completely losing touch with all sense of reality. It is comedy-gold in the making.
