Just seen the Utd v Spuds game. That was a really cute finish from Walker, put it right where Vorm couldn't reach it. Lovely finish
We weren't good, agreed. However, awful is a bit of a one eyed assessment. You created pretty much zero, we had to do the job for you with a lazy, sloppy pass. You didn't deserve the three points, we gave them to you.
If Kane doesn't find his form from last season, then Spurs are going to struggle. They were over reliant on him last season (like they were with Bale) I don't see anybody else in that team bar erikson creating much for them.
You know when you have watched a **** game when Owen makes Mike Smalling man of the match ! Thought Spurs would nick a point at the end, but they failed as they have no end product. It was strange to see United spending the last 5 minutes of the game being under pressure as I am used to SAF sides that pressed till the final whistle. a draw would have been fair result as both sides were average. The positives: Spurs you are only 1 point behind Chelsea and you have played an away game; United you are 2 points above Chelsea and you both have played at home. The negatives: Spurs. - If Kane doesn't score who will; United - if you have to rely on Rooney all season for goals you will struggle as he looked slow IMO
Eriksen/Chadli, depending on if they are awake. Our issue is that there is little support for the striker and Kane is isolated often, far too much emphasis from Pochettino on his sideways passing system with full backs soaring forward (which resulted in Rooney being free in the box). This is what happens when average managers have an obsession with systems, they get found out at some point and AVB was found out, Pochettino will also end up being found out, but for now, I hope Kane can carry on his form and we have Eriksen who will produce and as much as I don't want to admit, Chadli can be a threat!
Your screwed when he does. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the style of footy he had saints playing but he has no plan B.
Agreed, Said that from day one but I was told he has a plan b because when his system fails and the opposition take control, that if we hit on the break then thats his plan b, well if thats the case then any **** manager that has his team outplayed, just has to tell his players to run forward when they get the ball!
That gorgeous lady psysio has just been demoted because she had the gall to treat The Smug One with the contempt that he deserved. Ought we make a cheeky bid for her?
Pochettino is a decent manager for a club in that second tier from 5th to 9th, but I don't see him doing any better than that to be honest. His style with Southampton was effective enough and he got them playing some exciting football, but to be honest, Koeman looks like a more rounded manager (athough Poch has a waistline to match) It makes you wonder if Spurs got the wrong man and should have tried to get Koeman instead ?
For once I agree with you HIAG. Maureen was an utter twat to treat her the way he has. Although as for Spurs going for her, you might have to battle us first http://metro.co.uk/2015/08/11/arsen...arneiro-after-jose-mourinho-incident-5338281/
