I was saying it when we were last in the Prem. Just never got sorted. Still waiting. Bloody hell, didn't realise WBA finalized Serge Gnarby too! They will be strong this season.

I agree to a certain degree with this - had we have won on Saturday the thoughts may have been that we are happy with what we have got and that they could be enough. The cruel truth that the PL exposes is that you can't miss chances and make schoolboy errors at defending and "get away with it".

We played well on Saturday without really forcing McCarthy to do too much - that said we deserved a point and maybe could have got all three - it's those fine lines that can define a season and therefore I'd feel more comfortable with a quality CB and quality striker coming in to help those fine lines work in our favour.

Yup! I'd have him rather than RVW, Lafferty or Grabban. So even if he was 3rd choice! At least we'd have 3 choices rather than just Jerome and Hooper. Someone said "obviously Alex Neil really Likes Grabban" I have no idea how, and I hope that's not true. I have no idea how he scored so many for Bournemouth, coz he looks an average Championship striker from every time I'v seen him.

One of the better players in the Russian League, and has played in the UCL. It worries me because he has pace, finishing and he is VERY strong. Shudder to think how many he might score against us.

He's been given such lot less chances than Grabban, But he scored so many important winners or levelers. I think Hoopers is wortha place in our squad. He can finish if given the chance. Where as Grabban gets too many chances, and pisses them all away.

Who is he then? Who has he previously played for? How long and how regular has he played Premier League football to warrant such a huge fee then Munky ? I genuinely know **** all about the lad.

He was brought on by Peterborough like most class non league players. He was a star then, and very very quickly got promoted to a Prem club because of his work rate, determination, and how calm and composed his is in from of goal once he works his way there. He works his skin off, and when he's in front of goal he knows where the net is.

Gayle isn't a signing to get excited about but having seen him play a few times I think he could do well for us.

I've just seen Henri Lansbury will be going to Burnley.

When your name came up I thought "I love you" but to read such a stupid comment. I'm not undecided. Hooper isn't fat or lazy. He just isnt a Jerome. He wont chance down and hassle. He makes runs, hovers, gets into the box. He's a poacher, he is a finisher. totally different player to Jerome.
    You are very welcome.
